One of the key characteristics of my prints is the paper. The entirety of paper that is used in digital printing is synthetic in nature and that can be visible, depending on the quality of paper … and of course on its price. However, I wanted my prints to feel as authentic to the atmosphere of the originals as it is possible. That's why I chose a paper that isn’t used in digital print, the Mi-Teintes® paper – a cardboard made by the French company Canson®, a well-known manufacturer of materials for artistic use. Such paper selection, in turn, dictated the method of preparing the picture used for printing. As a result, it is not some reprinted scan of a book illustration, it is a painstakingly redrawn copy of the original. The De Woozles brand is not a big business. I live in Poland (Eastern Europe) and since 2016 I have been running my own small, one-person shop on Etsy. For me, it is primarily an opportunity for independence. So thank you so much for your support!
